I grew up all over north Alabama, from Cullman to Florence.

How did you become a Christian?

I learned about Jesus at a very young age, and felt his presence in my life almost immediately. My childhood was full of moving from one home, and school to the next, and the only constant thing I ever have had in my life was and is Christ.

What do you do for free time?

My husband is a pilot as one of his hobbies and so we love to fly all over the States and see new places together. I Also love to workout and walk along the lake with my friends.

What’s your favorite movie/tv shows?

I’m all about girly flicks, love stories, and comedy!

Movies-The Notebook, Legally Blonde, Sweet home Alabama, Notting Hill, 50 first dates

Tv-friends,new girl, parks and recreation, the voice

What’s the craziest job you’ve ever had?

I’ve had some wild jobs but I’d say the craziest would have to be working in chicken houses! I would have to do all of the things to maintain the houses, feed, and maintain the 100s of chickens from babies to adults until Tyson or whoever else would come and get them. The craziest part is I would have to kill the ones that were suffering or left behind. I was 10-12 years old. Talk about the ultimate learning experience of work ethic.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

What is your favorite Connect Church memory?

Wow, I have so many great memories with Connect Church. I would have to say the latest favorite memory would have to be when we delivered home-cooked meals to all of the staff members at Marshal Medical Cancer Center. As a former cancer patient that they tended to through my treatment, it felt so good to be able to give back to them in the name of Jesus.

What’s on your playlist?

I love all music and am very moody with my playlists! I have a playlist for everything! You’ll hear anything from George Straight, to Lauren Daigle to Al Green and everything in between. I tend to gravitate to soulful sounds.

Favorite books?

People still read? Jk. Honestly the only books I read these days are Based on theology. I love learning about new authors in our life groups, as we navigate through books by different authors such as, Tim Keller, Chris Hodges, C.S. Lewis, and many other great Christian writers.
