We’re so excited you’re here! We believe children’s ministry is one of the most important parts of our church. Everything we do is based on Matthew 22:37-38 — teaching kids to Love God and Love People.

Our goal is to partner with parents to help children become fully devoted followers of Christ, from childhood to adulthood.
Your child’s safety is our top priority.
We're here to serve your family and help your kids grow in faith and love!
On Sundays, we have nursery classes for infants – Kindergarten at all campuses. At the Guntersville Campus, an elementary class is also offered for 1st-5th graders. When you first arrive, please go to the Children’s Kiosk to check-in your child to their class. A volunteer will assist you in locating the classroom for each child.
Classes
Each week, we introduce your littlest ones to the wonder and Word of God through age-specific lessons, Bible stories, music, and activities through The Gospel Project.
Children attend the class based on how old they are by September 1st of the calendar year.
Infants through 2 year olds are cared for by loving volunteers in a safe and clean environment. In our baby and toddler classes, your child will be actively engaged through play while hearing songs and learning Bible stories.
2 & 3 Year Olds (Early Childhood 1) have an age appropriate lesson from The Gospel Project that includes a Bible story, music and movement, and fun hands-on activities.
PreK and Kindergarten (Early Childhood 2) experience a lesson from The Gospel Project that includes fun songs, games, video elements, and engaging activities.
1st-5th Graders (Elementary) at the Guntersville Campus come together each week for a Bible lesson, group games, Bible skills and memorization activities, and opportunities to build friendship and community with peers.
On Sundays at our Arab and Albertville Campuses, 1st–5th graders join their families in Family Worship during the worship service. If this is a new concept for you, here’s a simple overview of how it works and why we do it.
How Does Family Worship Work?
Nursery and age-level classes are available for Bed Babies through Kindergarten at each campus. These classes provide excellent childcare and age-appropriate Bible teaching in a safe, fun environment. We encourage families with younger children to take advantage of these classes during the Worship Service.
At Arab and Albertville Campuses, Children in 1st through 5th grade attend the Worship Service with their families rather than going to separate classes. To help them stay engaged, we offer Children's Worship Bags each week. These bags include Kids Sermon Notes, stickers, a pencil, colored pencils, a sweet treat, and occasionally a quiet fidget toy or small prize. The notes are designed to help kids follow along with the message and spark meaningful conversations at home after the service. Bags can be picked up in the Welcome Center or foyer before the service begins. Afterward, we ask that you return the bag and coloring supplies so we can refill them for next week, but feel free to keep the notes and stickers.
Why Do We Do Family Worship?
Family Worship is one of the ways we partner with parents in helping children know and follow Jesus. Research shows that school-age children who regularly attend worship services with their parents are more likely to stay connected to their faith as they grow. By worshiping together, children experience the life of the church firsthand. They see their parents and leaders worship, witness baptisms and prayer, partake in communion, and hear the same message their parents do—all while developing a sense of belonging within the church body.
At Connect, we believe children’s ministry is one of the most important ministries in the church. Family Worship doesn’t replace it—it enhances it. It’s one more way we support you in discipling your children from childhood to adulthood, both inside and outside the church walls.
On Wednesdays, join us for CAMP Connect Kids for infants – 5th grade! Wednesdays are when the action happens each week in our Connect Kids ministry. We have age-level small groups, and our night is packed with fun worship, Bible learning, games, and fellowship using The Gospel Project.
We follow our life group semester calendar in the fall and spring, and meet from 5:45-7:45 p.m. at all campuses (a light supper is provided at arrival).
Child dedications are a joint expression of a parent’s desire to raise Godly children and our church’s commitment as a church to partner with and support you.
Child Dedications are a time for parents to commit themselves to raising their child God’s way. It’s a powerful time for parents to embrace the responsibility they’ve been given by God and to catch a vision of the impact they can make in their child’s life. Parenting in the early stages isn’t easy, but with direction and intentionality, parents can begin to build a spiritual foundation that lasts.
We invite families with infants, toddlers, and young children to participate in the dedication event.
Child dedication services are scheduled on Mother’s Day of each year. Our next Dedication service will be at all campuses on Sunday, May 10th, 2026 during the 10:30 service. You must register to participate. Registration will open April 2026.
