Connect Kids

We believe the Bible should never be boring,

worship can be really loud and fun, good leaders always care, and community can be found with your friends at church. We are dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

We want to make sure these 3 things stick before we send our kids off to Middle School:

1.  I can trust God no matter what. (Faith)

2.  I need to make the wise choice.  (Wisdom)

3.  I should treat others the way I want to be treated.  (Friendship)

The safety of your children is our first priority. All outside doors remain locked during services, a trained security team is on hand, and no one can pick up your child without the matching tag received at sign-in.

When do we meet?

School age children (1st - 5th grade) have classes that meet on Wednesdays 6:00-7:45.

Kids should expect crazy games, hands on Bible learning, and small group time with their peers during one of our gatherings.

We are so excited to transition to Family Worship with our 1st-5th graders!  If you are new to this concept, here is a quick look in to it:

How does Family Worship work?

  • Nursery will continue on from Bed Babies - Kindergarten.  We provide excellent childcare and age-appropriate Bible learning in a fun, safe environment in our Baby, Toddler, 2&3 Year Old, and PreK & Kindergarten classes at each campus.  We encourage families with children in these age groups to take advantage of the classes offered during Worship Service times.
  • Children 1st-5th grade are  in the Worship Service on Sundays instead of age specific classes.
  • Children's Service Bags are provided each week to engage 1st-5th graders in the Worship Service.  Kids have their own Kids Sermon Notes to follow along with the message. These also provide an opportunity to continue the conversation as a family after service.  Bags include a Kids Sermon Notes, stickers, crayons or colored pencils, and pencil. Bags can be picked up each Sunday in the Welcome Center or Foyer at your campus. (After service, please keep the Sermon Notes and stickers, and return the bag with the crayons and pencils to the basket for us to refill for the next week!)

Why do we do Family Worship?

  • Family Worship is a way for the church to partner even more with families in leading our children to know Jesus!  Research shows that school-age children who regularly attend a worship service with their parents have a greater chance of continuing their walk with Christ into adulthood.
  • Children's Ministry is one of the most important ministries that we have at Connect.  Transitioning to Family Worship for our school-age children doesn't lessen that; in fact, it puts even more emphasis on our strong desire for children to become fully devoted followers of Christ from childhood to adulthood.  We want to partner with you in discipling your children outside the church walls...this is just one way that we can do that!

Connect Kids Nursery

We love our youngest church attenders!

We provide childcare for Babies - Preschool during

Sunday services, Sunday night Life Group, and Wednesday night.

We have trained volunteers that take care of our children,

and provide the foundation for our children to learn about Jesus.

We provide opportunities for learning through play,

music and movement, story telling, and crafts.
